TUFTING WORKSHOPS

  • Tufting technique introduction (private lesson)

    In this workshop the participant has the opportunity to learn how to handle the tufting gun and reproduce the basic steps from work frame installation to a tufted textile piece.

    - Experience level: Beginner

    - Private lesson, 4 hours

    - Material included in the session costs (tufting gun cut pile, tufting cloth, wool yarn, scissors, shearing machine).

    - Fabrication of a 40cm textile piece maximum

    - Local: Loulé, Algarve

    - Session cost 80€

  • Tufting technique introduction + Fabrication of a textile piece (private lesson)

    In this workshop the participant has the opportunity to create his own tufting project and take home the textile piece completely finished. From the drawing to the handle of the tufting gun, including the work frame installation steps, rug fabrication, collage and finishing touches.

    - Experience level: Beginner or Intermediate

    - Private lesson, 7 hours

    - Material included in the session costs (tufting gun cut pile, tufting cloth, wool yarn, scissors, shearing machine, textile glue, rug backing, (wood frame not included)).

    - Fabrication of a 50cm textile piece maximum

    - Local: Loulé, Algarve

    - Session cost 150€
