Inspired by home decor, SÖNMUN is a brand where all the art pieces and rugs are unique and carefully handmade between the sun and the sea of Algarve and uses mainly the tufting technique as its original signature.

Wall Decor & Rugs

  • Our wall decor and our rugs are made of acrylic yarn, a mix of wool and nylon. They are tufted and handwoven.

    We want you to enjoy your rug or your framed work for as long as possible so keep your piece out of direct sunlight and do not lean anything against the surface. Try to avoid subjecting your piece to extreme changes in atmosphere. Avoid excessive dryness, humidity, heat or cold. All of these conditions can affect the state of your piece in a negative way.

    Do not use cleaning products or water. It is normal for it to shed some fluff, which can be removed by brushing it or using a vacuum with suction.

Mirrors

  • Our mirrors are made of acrylic yarn, a mix of wool and nylon. They are tufted and handwoven.

    We want you to enjoy your mirror for as long as possible so keep your artwork out of direct sunlight and do not lean anything against the surface or you may break the mirror. Try to avoid subjecting your artwork to extreme changes in atmosphere. Avoid excessive dryness, humidity, heat or cold. All of these conditions can affect the state of your artwork in a negative way.

    Do not use cleaning products or water against the tufted materials. It is normal for it to shed some fluff, which can be removed by brushing it or using a vacuum with suction. Regarding the mirror you can clean it with a damp cloth when needed.

Table Accessories

  • Our table accessories are made of acrylic yarn, a mix of wool and nylon.

    We want you to enjoy your table accessory for as long as possible so keep your piece out of direct sunlight. Try to avoid subjecting your piece to extreme changes in atmosphere. Avoid excessive dryness, humidity, heat or cold. All of these conditions can affect the state of your piece in a negative way.
